Atlanta to Tyrone

Back to real life! But real life is good too.

We returned on May 23. We lived for a few weeks in my old apartment in Atlanta (where I was living for the past year). It was nice to have an (already established) home to come back to. We could unwind, do laundry, live... Edgar made his commute to OM USA in Tyrone every day. It's about 45 minutes south of Atlanta.

Atlanta is an exciting city, we'll be sorry to "leave." We'll still be attending our church there on sundays. And hopefully go in to the city often for concerts and picnics in Piedmont park. But it is also good to be moving to Tyrone. It's great to have FREE parking right outside my door, no one-way streets, no elevators, a BALCONY!, and lots of cool OM neighbors.

June 16 we moved onto OM's property. We have a little one-room apartment in a new housing building. It's an answer to many prayers. We really thank God our new home.

Edgar is working with the college mobilizing team. Summer is not a busy time for traveling to the colleges. His other team members are gone leading or visiting short term missions teams around the world. Edgar is staying in the office this summer--there is a lot to be done while the team is away, especially preparing for the fall. It's really nice that we can have a month or two to settle in together before he has to start traveling again.

I go back to school July 10! My senior year: I only have 4 quarters left. You can pray for me as I commute about 60 miles (one way) to school 4 days a week through busy traffic!!

Right now we're still shuffling around boxes, trying to unpack...
