I voted

On Wednesday the 22nd of November there are parlementary elections in The Netherlands. For the first time in history the Dutch government gives Dutch citizens who live outside of the country the opportunity to vote through Internet. Through a secure website I could vote. The instruction brochure that I got through the mail told me to find a quiet place to vote... I found this place on my own couch in my living room!
I am thankful that I have the right to vote and hope that many people in The Netherlands use that right on Wednesday.
