A Southern Thing?

Edgar and I experienced a new cultural phenomena: the chili-cook off.
The men in our new church apparently have made it an annual tradition. Edgar entered his chili into the competition. We were amazed at the plethora of crock pots, the creativity of the chefs, and enjoyed the yumminess and spice of it all.
