Dancer in Missions

One of the new recruits during this OutBound conference was David. I met David in 2006 at a mission conference at a college. Although it was more a missions fair. The school had organized a fair for missions organizations to come for about 2 hours. Students had to make an effort to go to this event.

David made it, because he had some questions about missions, and dancing! He is a dancer and wanted to know if he could use his gifts on the missions field. At that point in time, OM had no organized dance ministry. We gave him a business card of the Linda, a lady in our office that was involved in Dancing.

Linda organized a a trip on the summer of 2007, just a couple of months before the trip, David contacted her, not knowing about the trip at all. He joined the first short term Dancelink trip to Albania!

And now David is preparing on joining OM as the first missionary dancer! He ius going to work on establishing a program for dancers all around OM. During the prayer meeting, he danced as well. To some cool hip-hop music.

It's special when you see that the work that you're involved in, bears fruit!
Praise God!
