Portland, OR

We arrived on Saturday night in Portland, Oregon. It was a very long flight, and we happend to be on the same flight as a lot of Mary Kay ladies...

On Sunday we visited a church service in Portland. The name of the church is Imago Dei. Last year I read the book: Blue like Jazz. The author of the book is Donald Miller. He describes this church in his book about his spiritual journey. It is very populair among Christian college students in the USA.

Later that day we visited Multnomah Falls.
A beautifull view!! This is only the beginning of a long three weeks trip through the Northwest. We will visit many campuses here. I will keep you updated about our travels. Pray for the team.

Yesterday was a very special day here in Portland. For the first time in 28 days there was sunshine and it was dry... after almost a month with only rain and clouds...almost the same as in The Netherlands...
