Partner Day

All 4,600 OM workers in the world (in over 110 counties) raise their own financial support. Even us at OM USA. We work for God, and we trust God to provide for us. And he does, through wonderful friends that "partner" with us in our work. These partners pray for us, and support what we're doing by giving financially. We praise God for our network of partners. This week I was thinking about them, and realized how wonderfully diverse they all are! Groups of dutch-speaking, spanish-speaking, english-speaking...and even Finnish, Swedish, and Australian (ok, so Australians speak english, but with a really cool accent)! They are each such an encouragement to us. Together, a miniature picture of the body of Christ!

Each month OM USA has a "partner day." Today Anna and I had the honor of planning and organizing the morning devotions. We had everyone share an encouraging story about one of their partners in a small group, pray for that partner, and then make a card for that person. It was a big hit! Very fun to see everyone cutting up magazines, and pasting stuff together.

Here's Edgar making a card!

My boss, Mark... very artistic with the stickers.

Praying for partners.
