Family visit for the Holidays

Over Christmas Edgar's brother Arjan, his wife Geralda, and their three kids Ruth (age 7), Joel (age 5), and Thomas (age 2) all came to visit! We made gingerbread houses (something new for them), decorated cookies, took a walk through the snow in the Georgia Appalachian mountains, visited the coolest playground around, went to the Georgia Aquarium, celebrated Christmas (with stockings, also not a Dutch tradition, and so a first for them!), and even made s'mores and dutch donuts (a new years tradition).

So now all of Edgar's family (parents, sister, brother) has made the trek over to the U.S.
We'll be visiting all of them as well this May/June for a month.
