Heart Sounds International

Last week we celebrate the 10th anniversary of Heart Sounds International (HSI). They are a ministry of OM and are focussing on recording Christian music in the language and culture of a specific country or people group to spread the Gospel with sounds that resonates in peoples hearts. During the celebration we heard about several projects that HSI has done around the world. They set up a Youtube channel where you can find footage of the recordings.

We heard some examples of throat singing. The Tuvan people in Mongolia and Siberia use this specific form of singing. I found a good example online (this is not an HSI recording)
