OM has sent out an emergency response team to Haiti. Initially we are focused on getting food, water and medical attention to a few orphanages we are helping. One of the team’s first tasks will be to search the rubble of a school that collapsed on as many as 2,000 students, to look for any signs of life. So far no other help has reached this suburb of Port au Prince.One of OM's development officers, Henry Couser (who's also a trained "first responder") was went to Haiti before the team, to find our pastor contacts and orphanages. While he was there he was also able to help evacuate an orphan who was adopted by US parents. Read the article in TIME magazine!
