North Carolina

For the weekend we escaped to North Carolina for a little mini break! We drove up and stayed in my parents house in the mountains. It's beautiful there. We both love it. Saturday and Sunday we hiked around the mountains and enjoyed the beautiful almost-fall weather. Edgar flew his kite for a couple of hours up in a field on a mountain with a panorama view of the appalachian mountains. So relaxing! We stayed Sunday night, trying to maximize our time there. We woke up at 3 a.m. to drive back! We got Edgar to work by 9!
