SNAC

Lately I've been really interested in International students. Our church is involved in a lot of ministries and I've been trying to go along with them to see what they're doing and get involved. (See my previous post "international day"). On monday I went to SNAC. (Speaking english Nonstop After Class). A group from the church goes about once a month to the Language Institute at Georgia Tech. They set up a variety of snacs outside the school and start talking. And they really do talk nonstop!! I talked for 5 hours with dozens of eager students. I met students from Mali, South Korea, Taiwan, Saudia Arabia, Armenia, Turkey, Colombia, etc. I loved every minute! They are so eager to talk, to practice their english, make friends, and meet Americans. I'm hoping to go again soon!
