Happy New Year!

Edgar and I have been using up our left over vacation days from work to have a "stay-cation." We've enjoyed a quiet Christmas with family, and then a week of do-it-yourself projects for our house. We've been really busy, and accomplished a lot.

Our endeavors included painting our guest bathroom ORANGE (sounds bad, looks cool!), making and hanging an upholstered headboard of mostly recycled materials, updating light fixtures, and making a frame to go around the bathroom mirror. It's been fun to actually accomplish some of the ideas we've had for a long time but have never had time to do. And we're not done yet! We've got to paint the guest bedroom too... not orange, I promise.

We hope you are enjoying the holidays. Happy New Year! Tonight we'll be celebrating with friends at a "bad-taste" party. (Clothes, not food, hopefully.)
