Last month Edgar and I had our first "Joshua Initiative" meeting. "Joshua Initiative" is a leadership training course initiated by OM in different fields around the world. We'll be meeting once a month throughout 2009.
Our first meeting involved a scavenger-hunt-like expedition through Tyrone. We had to do things like fit our team into a porta-potty, get as many people as possible to sing to us in the local diner (we got 15 people to sing "happy birthday" to me, a few days before my birthday), interview local business owners, and carry a team member a significant distance (I rode piggy-back on Edgar and Carsten... I felt really bad when they were both quite sore later).
It should be an interesting course, we look forward to it!
